Frequently Asked Questions About Dog Training in South Riding
How quickly will I see results with my dog?
Results vary by dog and program. Board & Train options include two-week programs and a 3-Week Reactivity Board & Train. Elite Obedience, Basic Marker Mastery™, and Aggressive Dog Training each run eight weeks, while Puppy Board & Train runs two weeks. Continued owner practice is important after training.
Do you guarantee your dog training results?
The standard 2-Week Board & Train lists seven guaranteed commands and Free Refresher for Life. The 3-Week Reactivity Board & Train also lists guaranteed commands but stays on-leash. Puppy Board & Train has no off-leash reliability guarantee, and major aggression issues cannot be guaranteed to be fully corrected.
What training methods do you use?
Methods and equipment vary by program. Some programs use an e-collar and leash, while Basic Marker Mastery™ uses reward-based training with a 15-foot leash, clicker, and slip lead. The team can explain the methods and equipment used in your selected program during your consultation.
Do you offer puppy training near South Riding?
